Pelvic Floor Safe & Strengthening exercise

Do you suffer from Pelvic Floor Problems? Do you leak when you laugh, cough or run?

 

Ok so it's an uncomfortable subject to talk about but the truth is that 40% of women will suffer from some form of Pelvic Floor dysfunction (stress incontinence) by the age of 65! but you don't need to suffer in silence with the symptoms because 84% of cases of stress incontinence can be treated with pelvic floor muscle training! 

If you have:

  • given birth

  • started menopause

  • are overweight

  • or undergone gynaecological surgery

you are at risk of developing Pelvic Floor problems. 

 

So, because we're all about women at The Body Barn we have undertaken training in Pelvic Floor Safe and Strengthening exercises.

 

You may have tried to exercise in the past but all of the jumping etc has made it so that you couldn't continue. You won't have that problem here. We can advise you of exercises that will be safe to complete without the worry of leaking or damaging your pelvic floor, and will help to strengthen your Pelvic Floor at the same time.
